Women for Conservation is thrilled to announce the book launch of Intertwined: Women, Nature, and Climate Justice by the acclaimed author Dr. Rebecca Kormos. This event will take place on June 1st at 10 a.m. EST, at Green Spring Gardens, Alexandria, VA.

 

We are proud to share that the book features a compelling chapter on the inspiring journey of our very own Women for Conservation founders, Sara Inés Lara and Isabella. Their story is a beacon of hope and a testament to the profound impact women can have in the field of conservation.

Dr. Rebecca Kormos will share an overview of her book and some of the highlighted stories of women’s leadership. She will be joined by Sara Inés Lara, Founder of Women for Conservation for a  1 hour program talk followed by 30-minute reception and book signing. Light refreshments will be served.
