In a collaborative effort to promote nature conservation and community well-being, Mujeres por la Conservación and ProAves have organized the fifth vasectomy brigade in Medellín. Men from El Carmen de Atrato, Chocó, are ready to participate in this initiative, which aims to foster responsible family planning directly linked to the protection of our natural environment.

Participants will receive free transportation, meals, accommodation, and the medical procedure, ensuring they can access the service without financial barriers. This initiative highlights how health care and reproductive rights can align with environmental protection, fostering more sustainable communities aware of their impact on biodiversity.

Vasectomy is a safe family planning method that empowers men to take an active role in decisions about reproduction and address overpopulation, which affects the planet. By choosing this procedure, participants contribute to their well-being, quality of life, and environmental care.

Mujeres por la Conservación reaffirms its commitment to family planning, gender equity, and environmental conservation. We continue to break down stigmas and overcome barriers by providing knowledge and access to essential medical procedures that transform lives and protect our planet.

This program is made possible thanks to the support of Women for Conservation and World Vasectomy Day.
